Katelyn's Embrace

Alexis note: I've had some questions about the Embrace scene as a whole and felt like letting people see an old one might be helpful.

It is a warm summer night in La Rochelle. It is a weekend and you are out late with your school friends at a local dance club, simply enjoying your life and your youth. Two things that are about to be lost.

Katelyn, as usual, is the life of the party, center stage, and doing her best to show up her friends. Years in dance school and grinding in the discipline of the art had made her athletic and quite the prodigy. She wasn't supposed to be out tonight, having snuck out of the house, but as usual, she was hoping she'd run into him...

And as you dance in the center a large ring of people, many of whom are latchers on or interested in getting into your pants, you do see him enter. He slips in gracefully, but manages to stick to the shadows and stay out of notice of anybody but you. Somehow, you feel like you are the only one in the room with him as soon as he enters.

She watches him slyly as he watches her, playing this cat and mouse game, both wondering who is the cat and who is the mouse. She dances, showing off for him, grinding against one of her friends who mistakes her intent and gets friendly, but she doesn't care. She likes showing off for Baudouin and knows he likes watching her showing off.

He stands by and watches for a minute, and grins, but then his attention seems to shift and he turns and begins walking away.

Katelyn excuses herself from the throng of dancers, even somewhat forcefully as she pushes her way through gropers and drunkards, trying to find him, but having lost him in the crowd somewhere. Her heart drops a little, as she walks around, hoping she hasn't missed him.

You see him standing at the doorway, looking straight at you. he turns and exits through the door onto the street outside.

She quickens her pace, following, her heart pounding and her excitement growing. Mom and Dad would never approve of Baudouin and that makes it all the better. She reaches the door, one of her friends asking where she's going, but she ignores them. Baudouin is playing with her and she's fairly certain that he's teasing the mouse out of its hole. The heady scent of smoke dissipates as she exits out of the front metal and severely beaten door to the old streets. She looks around in the low light, grinning, searching the buildings across the way and the foot paths for any sign.

As you come out, you barely notice him turn the corner just up the street. He does not even look back, and that just makes you certain that he knows you are following.

Laughing, Katelyn runs up the street after him, certain that as soon as she rounds the corner he'll jump out at her, or even better, grab her and throw her against the wall, passionately kissing her. Even though when he scares her she finds it annoying, her speed picks up, because the hope and chance that he'll kiss her is worth it all.

Finding herself constantly thinking about him, always meeting in the dark, and him being such a bad boy, made every encounter something to be remembered. These were the stories she'd tell her children, if she did or didn't marry him it didn't matter, she'd talk about the time she slipped out despite grandma's protests, and grandpa's stern warnings.

Reaching the corner, she rounds it, running carelessly, as her eyes search for him in the darkness.

You turn the corner and do not see him anywhere. You realize that this is a dark alley and nobody is around. If there were once lights down here, they have long since burnt out. This is a new direction for his game, and even as you slowly walk down to search for him, there is a strange fear in the pit of your stomach. You ignore it, though, for the thrill of being with him again. You get down to the end of the alley, which is blocked by a brick divider and you let out a sigh of frustration, wondering if you were wrong and he did not turn down here. The fear that you lost him and may not see him tonight overwhelms the fear of being alone in this alley.

You look around and try to see where he could have gone to, hoping this is all part of his game. As you turn around, though, you let out a scream as you are suddenly grabbed by somebody that apparently followed you into the alley. You are pressed against the brick and tears start to roll down your cheeks, so startled you are, and you realize it is Baudouin that is holding you. He is smiling, and the moonlight highlights his perfect teeth. You distantly wonder how he managed to get behind you, but feel relieved to see him.

She slaps his chest, "Don't scare me like that! I thought it was... well, not good."

Trying to look mad, she finds she can't be, for as much as it was cruel what he just did, she adores him explicitly.

He does not say anything, he simply just starts kissing you, his hands exploring your body, and testing his limits as one hand moves along the low collar of your shirt and tracing your cleavage and the other hand touches just below the hem of your skirt, waiting for some sort of response.

Katelyn grabs his hand and pushes it further up her leg, "Quit toying with me Baudouin. We both want it..."

She keeps kissing him.

He finds that you are not wearing any panties, as you were hoping to see him tonight anyway, and his fingers start to work their magic. You feel pleasure run through you and can barely keep your moans quiet as he works you over. He kisses along your neck while his fingers push into you and he whispers into your ear.

"Do you want to be with me forever? I need to know how serious you want this with me. I need to know you're certain. I want to hear you beg me for this."

"Baudouin you know I've been crushing on you for a while. I thought for a while you weren't interested."

He continues with his hand, getting more intense with his actions, expertly rolling pleasure through you and he looks into your eyes, his face close to you.

"I want to hear it. I want you to tell me what you want. I won't go any further if you don't want it. You need to tell me or I will stop right now and walk away, and you will never see me again."

He puncuates his words by pausing his ministrations.

Grabbing at the brick wall, Katelyn moans, gasping each time he stops, "Please Baudouin! I want this, I need this, I need you! Don't stop!"

What comes next is completely unexpected. Your proclamations do not get the response you thought they would as he stops completely, leaving you an the verge of orgasm but frustratingly denied. Instead, he grabs your neck with one hand and forces you harder against the wall, knocking the breath out of you and making it harder to breathe.

"Remember for the rest of time that you asked for this."

He stares for a moment, just looking deep into your eyes and watching your face for a reaction. Perhaps for the first time you see into his eyes and truly see the depths of your crush. You see a dark age and malevolance in those eyes. Something you had never seen before.

Struggling to talk, Katelyn squirms under his grasp, but sees it's no use, and a sense of dread builds in her gut. She looks into that depth, that darkness in his eyes, that age, and screams.

Baudouin extends a pair of fangs and lunges at your throat, biting into your neck. Your scream is cut short when first you feel a slight sting as the fangs pierce your flesh, but then there is a sudden pleasure coursing through your body that leads you to lose almost all sensation of your current situation and surroundings. That pleasure begins to fade, though, as your life ebbs away and a comfortable peace comes over you. Your worries and cares trickle to nothing as the calm, relaxing repose of death takes you into it's arms . . .

. . . until you feel ripped back into your body by an intense pain. There is a strange taste on your lips as a coppery liquid flows down your throat. You feel fire in every vein in your body, and the pain is overwhelming. It is like nothing you have ever experienced, and all you want is for the pain to end. You return to the world, denied the solace of eternal rest, and your eyes open as you take stock of your surroundings. You see that you remain in the same place and pose as before, as you died, and your sire is staring into your eyes. The pain of your reanimation has begun to abate, but there is something else in it's place. An intense hunger like you have never felt before. A hunger for blood that sits in the very pit of your stomach as it takes root in the very essence of your being.

"And now that your choice was made, the deed is done."

He releases his grip on your neck, and you slide to the ground feeling weak and hungry. He turns and starts walking to the head of the alley, saying nothing more.

She groggily tries to gain sense of her surroundings, the vertigo disorienting, and looks about at the dark alley and his retreating form. She grabs at her knees and almost growls while rocking back and forth, lost in what's happened, when she yells, "Baudouin!"

He ignores her and makes his way to the street, gone from view, and anger like she's never known before boils up inside of her as she screams, "BAUDOUIN!"

Her voice echoes off of the bricks of the buildings but is answered only by silence. She forces herself to her feet, grabbing at the dirty wall, and almost doubles over from the intense hunger. One foot in front of the other she reaches the end of they alley herself but by the time she gets there he's most certainly gone. Down the street she can hear the music playing but it's odd, it's more than the thumping of the base, but the lyrics ring true as well. People outside having conversations sound like they're talking right next to her. The wall under her hand is rough and porous and she can feel every imperfection and minuscule particle that makes its shape. She takes a look around and sees that what seemed so dark only moments before is sharp and clear. Looking the other direction she sees a shape in the dark, off in the distance, and knows whoever it is, is watching her.

Wandering up the street she passes by the club and stares at the people out front, wanting desperately to bite into their flesh, and images of thick, rich, dark, coppery blood fill her mind. She stares so long as they stand there smoking that they begin to stare back. Her hand on her stomach, her face in pain, she hears the urgings for the first time, to take it, and take it all. The war in her mind and shock of her thoughts frightens her and she flees, running as fast as she can up the streets.

You run away, from the club, from your friends, from the alley where you died, but no matter how far you go, you cannot escape the intense hunger that fills your gut. The desire for human blood will no go away, and the more you run, the stronger it seems to get. You almost feel on the verge of losing control, like there is something inside you warring to take control and force you to give in to baser desires. To kill and drink blood.

After having run and run and run and run without wearing out or losing her breath she finally stops. The activity didn't make her forget her hunger and somehow made it worse. She finds an old shop and leans heavily against the wall. Making her way around a corner she finds the shop's refuse in an alley and collapses near it, hugging her knees to her body, and buries her face as she starts to sob.

This must be what garbage feels like. Being thrown away.

Scared, alone, and confused, she looks down at her knees only to see blood smears. Staring strangely at the blood she can't recall having hurt herself and wipes at her tears only to see the blood smear on her hand. She continues to wipe at her face and the realization that she's weeping blood only serves to frighten her more.

A figure appears at the head of the alley, and a moment of hope takes root as you are waiting for Baudouin to appear and end what must be just another of his games. You hold your breath, and ignore the fact that it does not seem to affect you at all, waiting for him to come to you, hug you, and joke with you about how you fell for his joke again.

Instead, though, the figure pulls something out and turns it on, revealing a flashlight in his hand as he shines it down the alley. Haloed in the light, you can see that it is a Police Officer.

"You there . . . what are you doing?"
